Maximum Aurelius routs rivals at Nantes

Purchased from the Arqana breeze-up sale in May for €55,000, two year-old Showcasing colt Maxiumum Aurelius is another stakes class colt secured from that sale by Bloodstock Agency Limited in addition to Robin Of Navan.  Both colts were sold by Bansha House Stables.  Maximum Aurelius suffered trouble in running last time when finishing a close fourth in a Listed race after his maiden win, but relished the step down in class at Nantes this afternoon to rout a conditions race field at Nantes by eight lengths.  A return to stakes company now beckons.  Congratulations to his British-based owner Craig Mather and Chantilly trainer Francis-Henri Graffard.
