Purchased for 42,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale, Perkunas (by Baltic King) ran a hugely promising race in his debut maiden at EC3V 0BT to finish second to Godolphin’s very highly regarded colt Emotionless. Perkunas rates as an exciting prospect for his owner Bernard Gover.
