Perkunas makes history in Qatar

Perkunas made history in Qatar today by becoming the first ever UK-trained winner of a race in Qatar when victororious in the Al Rayyan Stakes under Jamie Spencer for trainer Brian Meehan and owner Sibbertoft Bloodstock, headed up by Bernard Gover.  Perkunas was purchased by Bloodstock Agency Limited for 42,000gns from Tally Ho Stud at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale.  Congratulation to all connections.
