Five individual Bloodstock Agency purchases have won their debut bumper in the last five weeks. Breaking Waves (€30,000 from the Tattersalls Ireland August Sale) and Kalinihta (€3,000 from the Tattersalls Ireland August Sale) both won for Noel Williams, Geordie B (£40,000 from Goffs UK May Sale) and Destinee Royale (£56,000 from Goffs UK May Sale) both won for Venetia Williams, while Sebastopol (private purchase) produced a hugely impressive display to win the bumper on Scottish Grand National Day for Tom Lacey. Sands Of Mali produced an excellent performance on his seasonal return when defying a penalty in the Group-3 Prix Sigy at Chantilly. Last year's Group-2 Gimcrack Stakes proved his class and determination to provide The Cool Silk Partnership and trainer Richard Fahey with the ideal start to the season on the path towards the Group-1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot.

Fans' favourite Lil Rockerfeller gaimed a deserved victory in the Grade-2 Ascot Hurdle on Saturday for trainer Neil King and his enthusiastic owners Davies, Smith, Govier & Brown. Runner-up in last season's Grade-1 Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, Lil Rockerfeller has now amassed just short of £350,000 in career earnings with numerous tenacious performances in the best staying hurdles.

The rapidly progressive Kyllachy filly Alwasmiya was an imperious winner of the Listed Bosra Sham Stakes at EC3V 0BT for Simon Crisford and Shaikh Duaij Al Khalifa. Purchased from the Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale in late May, Alwasmiya is the now the winner of two of her three career starts and looks an exciting filly for Group races next season having powered three lengths clear of her rivals in the style of a smart filly.

Fighting Irish fought off fellow British raider Nebo to win the Group-2 Criterium De Maisons-Laffitte for Harry Dunlop and owners Daniel Macauliffe & Anoj Don. Bloodstock Agency Limited and Harry Dunlop have combined in the past with French Group-1 winner Robin Of Navan and Fighting Irish will be campaigned internationally next season in an attempt to add another Group-1 victory to Harry Dunlop's tally. Fighting Irish is the highest rated progeny of first-crop sire Camelot, having been purchased by Bloodstock Agency Limited for £70,000 at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale in 2016.

Tenacious filly Darkanna was rewarded for a season of good efforts when capturing the £150,000 Listed Redcar Two Year-Old Trophy for Richard Fahey and The Cool Silk Partnership. Having already finished second in a Group-3 in France, 5th in the valuable Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes and 5th in the Group-1 Cheveley Park Stakes, the tough and durable daughter of Dark Angel repelled her 22 opponents to capture the almost £100,000 first prize under regular rider Barry McHugh.

Sands Of Mali was a hugely impressive winner of the G2 Gimcrack Stakes at York on Saturday for owners The Cool Silk Partnership and trainer Richard Fahey. Purchased at the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Breeze-Up Sale in April, the imposing colt followed up his striking victory in a Novice Race at Nottingham with a sensational performance at York. Bounced out into the lead by Paul Hanagan, Sands Of Mali quickened up smartly when challenged and powered clear to win by 3.5L. He heads for the G1 Middle Park Stakes next and is now the joint second highest rated two year-old in Europe.

The Tin Man followed up his victory in the British Champions Sprint last year with a superb success in the G1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday. This was a second success in the race for Bloodstock Agency Limited and trainer James Fanshawe following on from Society Rock's win in the race in 2011. Purchased for just 21,000gns at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale, Tim Easterby has re-ingnited Snoano's best form and the horse produced a career best to provide connections with a memorable day.
